General Regulations of ACW WS De-Scaling Filter Unit
- Use only for water with pH 6.5 pH 8.5
- If feed / supply water exceeds the working pressure of 8 Bar, please install a pressure regulator in line prior to water entering the WS10 Unit
- Keep unit protected from direct sunlight
- Please keep unit protected from HOT water backflows by means of a non-return valve installed on the outlet side of the WS10 Unit
- Keep protected from excessive heat or cold (frost)
- Only use �HOT� models for the filtration of hot water (>40°)
- Keep protected from water hammering with anti-hammering devise
Operating & Maintenance
- Back wash unit as soon as pressure drops by 0.5bar (measured against the discharge pressure)
- Top-up Filter Media as soon as level drops by approximately one third (66% remaining) � Contact AC WATER for assistance
- Replace the filter cup every 2 years
- Before Opening - turn off the feed water supply at the mains supply
